The Boston Customs Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit, cooperative financial institution serving its members since 1935 with a wide range of services to meet all their financial needs.
As a member, you actually are a owner of the credit union. You have a vote in the elections held annually to fill positions on the voluntary Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee.
Joining the Boston Customs FCU is easy – just simply visit our office or give us a call and deposit at least $5.00 in a share (savings) account.
Once you become a member, you are always a member even if you change jobs, retire or move. As long as you keep your account open with the required minimum balance, all our benefits and services are available to you. Your family can also join and enjoy the advantages of credit union membership.
The Boston Customs Federal Credit Union serves the employees of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) including:

Employees who are currently working, retired, or may have resigned from employment with DHS or component Agency are eligible for membership. You may continue membership if you are on a detail, change your duty station or change positions.
Family members of these employee’s including a spouse, child, sibling, grandparent, grandchild, stepchildren, and adopted family member are also eligible to join. Immediate family is defined as a spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent or grandchild, including stepparents, stepchildren, stepsiblings and adoptive relationships.
